MARY GIUFFRE: I sing all the time.  I sing along to the songs on the radio. I sing silly ditties to the dog. I wake up with songs I've sung during the day running through my head in the middle of the night and every time I think of this month's theme I want to sing it to the tune of David Bowie's 'Fashion'! 

I just can't help myself. I'm a Pa ~ Pa ~ Pa ~ Pa ~ Passionate person and I find Bowie inspirational! A British musician, record producer/arranger and actor with a career spanning four decades (so far!) he is widely regarded as an innovator with intellectual depth. Simply put, he's truly an artist with kind of passion we've been talking about all month long.

When we work from our heart-centre, we can't help but be filled with passion and I'm truly blessed to be surrounded by passionate individuals - our team here on the magazine - as well as many others I'm privileged to have met and interviewed on this journey. Janet Bray Attwood, co-Author of New York Times Best Seller The Passion Test: The Effortless Path to Discovering Your Life Purpose, is one of those people. My favourite quotes from her book say it best for me, “Passions are about process. Goals are about outcomes…Passion arises from the heart, and your heart's impulse is more likely to be closer to the truth than your mind's analysis.”

Janet and Chris Attwood's Passion Test has attracted worldwide attention because people need to feel passion in order to create heart-centred success. It is my pleasure to introduce two individuals who are living their passion because of The Passion Test: Bari McFarland and Christine Cirka, both Certified Facilitators know first hand how successful the program is.

Bari McFarland:

I first came across the Passion Test during one of my many trips to the bookstore in search of my next self -help book. At the time, I had been working in a government job for over 15 years. Still not knowing what I wanted to be when I grew up I hoped this book would help me figure it out. I became passionate about the Passion Test, not only for myself, but to share this incredible tool with the world, however the voice inside my head kept doubting, “You want to quit your government job to be a Passion Test facilitator”?  Fast forward 4 years and as syncronicity would have it I had the pleasure of meeting Janet Bray Attwood in person. My decisions was made and I broke through my fear using what the Passion Test teaches, "When faced with a choice, decision or opportunity, choose in favour of your passion." 

Since becoming a facilitator, I am living and breathing the principles of The Passion Test. Within nine months of becoming a Passion Test facilitator, I have a viable business where I’m helping change people’s lives for the better. Christine Cirka:

The Passion Test is a process to learn about awakening and giving a voice to the heart. It was key in assisting me to follow my own authentic path and open my heart-centred business. It gave me the courage to leave behind a successful corporate career – to become a Certified Transformation and Business Coach. 

The Passion Test taught me to open my heart to align with my own authentic path.  As I aligned more and more with my heart, my intuition soared and I often found I would come across the 'right' information just when I needed it. 

Through synchronicity, I found myself attending a program (The Passion Test) to learn more about discovering passions and true purpose. It was Valentine’s Day and learning to follow my passions more fully was my gift to my heart! I got clarity and a deep sense of knowing that it was now time to leave my current career. I left the corporation soon thereafter. 

My experience is that the more I follow my passions and listen to my heart – the more joyful my life becomes. It gives me greater and greater clarity - I feel more aligned to my purpose and am able to step into the divine knowing that I am connecting with my life’s great work.
